Housing - Annual Meeting 2026

The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) has appointed Maritz Global Events as its official housing and registration company and has secured a block of hotel rooms near the Seattle Convention Center. All housing is reserved through Maritz for the AAP room block; hotels cannot accept accommodation requests made directly. Reservations will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A $15  per room per night fee is included in the room rates and will be paid to Maritz Global Events.

Attendees must register for the meeting to secure housing. Room rates do not include the current tax per night of 18%*.

Please review the cancellation policy for your hotel carefully. Changes and cancellations must be made before the cancellation deadline or you will lose your hotel deposit. Please refer to your housing confirmation for the cancellation policy for your selected hotel.

How do I make/amend/cancel my hotel reservations?

After registering, you will have the opportunity to make a hotel reservation in the official AAP hotel block at discounted convention rates. These rates can only be found when booking through the official AAP housing provider, Maritz Global Events. All reservations must be held with a credit card guarantee. No charges will be made at the time of booking. However, the hotel will charge a deposit of one night’s room and tax to the credit card provided on or after October 8, 2026. From October 9-October 16, 2026, reservation requests will be accepted on a space-available basis. Changes and/or cancellations may be managed online or in writing via e-mail to [email protected]. No cancellations will be accepted over the phone. After October 16, 2026, conference reservation information will be transferred to the hotel. You may begin contacting the hotel directly for assistance beginning October 20, 2026. Please review the cancellation policy for your hotel carefully. Changes and cancellations must be made before the cancellation deadline, or you will lose your hotel deposit.

Please contact the individual hotels directly for new reservations, changes or cancellations, beginning October 20, 2026.  Please refer to your confirmation for individual hotel cancel policies. Cancellations made after the cancellation deadline will result in forfeiture of the entire room deposit. Please note that hotel refunds are issued 30 – 90 business days after the last day of the Annual Meeting.
