Biography Text: Dr. Monica Prasad Gibson is the Director of Advanced education in Periodontics residency program at Indiana University. Prior to moving to Indianapolis, she was the Program Co-Director at University of Alberta, Canada. She has completed her PhD with Postdoctoral Fellowship in Biomedical Sciences from Baylor college of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She did her Periodontics residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Gibson is dual board certified by American Board of Periodontology and Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She is also a board examiner for Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Gibson is currently serving as the Vice-Chair of Program Directors Education Committee at American academy of Periodontology. Dr. Gibson’s research is focused on soft and hard tissue regeneration.
