Biography Text: Dr. Beatriz Bezerra is a Clinical Associate Professor at UCLA. She is the Periodontics Predoctoral Director and interim Postdoctoral program Director at the UCLA School of Dentistry. After completing her dental degree at the Universidade Federal do Ceara, in Brazil, Dr. Bezerra received her Master's and PhD in Clinical Dentistry from the Faculdade de Odontologia de Piracicaba, also in Brazil. Dr. Bezerra completed her Periodontics residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health and has been involved in teaching and research since graduating from her residency. Dr. Bezerra is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and currently serves as the Chair of the AAP Education commitee. Dr. Bezerra is passionate about periodontal education and is committed to enhancing her students experiences.
