Biography Text: Hanae Saito, DDS, MS, CCRC is a clinical associate professor and director of the Dual Certificate Perio-Pros program and predoctoral periodontal education at the Division of Periodontics, University of Maryland School of Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. She received a Master of Science in Clinical Research and a certificate in Periodontics from New York University College of Dentistry and is currently enrolled in the PhD in Dental Biomedical Science program at the UMSOD. She is a recipient of the 2014 American Academy of Periodontology Foundation Nevins Education and Clinical Research Fellowship award, the 2018 Osseointegration Foundation Research Grant, and the 2018 Implant Dentistry Research and Education Foundation. She maintains a faculty practice specializing in periodontology and implant dentistry.
