Biography Text: Dr. Flavia Q. Pirih is a Professor and the Tarrson Family Endowed Chair in Periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she also serves as Chair of the Division of Regenerative & Reconstructive Sciences. Dr. Pirih is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and a past President of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. She currently serves as a board member of the California Society of Periodontists. In addition to her leadership roles, she is an Associate Editor for both the Journal of Periodontology and Clinical Advances in Periodontics. Above all, Dr. Pirih is deeply passionate about Periodontology and academia, which she considers her greatest strength.
