Biography Text: Dr. Sejal Thacker, a board-certified Periodontist and Master of Dental Science, directs the post-graduate Periodontology program at UConn Health and runs a private clinical practice in Connecticut. Recognized as a "Top Dentist in Connecticut" by her peers since 2016, she graced the cover in 2018. Her accolades include the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation’s Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring Awards (2015, 2019) and the prestigious Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship (2020). Named a rising star by the AAP in 2018, Dr. Thacker is an ITI Fellow and leads the National Osteology Group USA. She has contributed to numerous clinical trials and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
