This course presents innovative interdisciplinary dentofacial therapy strategies for managing complex Stage IV periodontitis and severe malocclusion. Utilizing 3D CBCT, cephalometric analysis, and TMJ diagnostics, attendees will explore how combining EFP guidelines, SFOT (PAOO), implants, and prosthodontics achieves biological stability. Participants can expect to learn a comprehensive framework that transforms structural collapse into predictable, lifetime esthetic and functional outcomes.

This course meets the Dental Board of California’s requirements for 0.5 units of continuing education.

Educational Objectives

• Apply 3D Dentofacial Diagnostics: Integrate CBCT, cephalometrics, and TMJ analysis to evaluate 3D positioning, volume, and morphology for precise treatment planning. 

• Implement Perio-Ortho Synergy with SFOT: Utilize Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy (SFOT) and bone augmentation to modify dentoalveolar phenotypes and overcome anatomical limitations. 

• Execute Biologically Sequenced Rehabilitation: Sequence interdisciplinary therapies—from EFP Steps 1–3 inflammation control to prosthodontic reconstruction—to achieve predictable, long-term stability.
